Signs It is Time to Replace Your Naboso Insoles

We all love the feeling and benefit of the Naboso Insoles.   However, it’s easy to forget that something which feels so good may need to be replaced after a certain period of use.   

Over time, all insoles wear down and lose some of their intended benefit – this is especially true if they are worn every day or during high impact activities.   But how frequently do they need to be replaced?   And do Naboso Insoles wear down like other arch support insoles?

Sign #1 – Time

Frequency of use, type of activity and age of the insoles is one of the biggest indicators that it is time to replace your Naboso Insoles.    Similar to other OTC insoles, the average life expectancy is between 6 months - 1year.

If you have had your Naboso Insoles for greater than 6 months and noticing a little less stimulation when wearing them, then it may be a sign it is time to replace them.  

Sign #2 – Odor

Are your insoles letting off a bad odor that you can’t get rid of?   This may be a sign that it is time to get rid of your insoles.  When our feet sweat it can allow bacterial and fungal growth, both of which can lead to insole odor.

Sign #3 – Flattened

If you start to notice that the pyramids are flattening (especially in the heel area) then it is time to replace the insoles.    Certain foot types and activities may accelerate the rate of the insole wear which can be observed in all insoles and shoes. 

Sign #4 – They are damaged

This one goes without saying.   If your Naboso Insoles have been damaged in water, cut or altered in any other way then it is time to replace them.     Any damaged insole will not offer the benefit you expect from them.  

Tips to Extend Insole Longevity

We know you don’t want to go without your Naboso Insoles and have made an investment in this product – and your foot health.  

To extend the life expectancy of your Naboso Insoles we have two main tips:

  1. Frequent washing.   We suggest washing them with anti-bacterial soap once a week.  This is especially important if you wear them with no socks and workout in them.  
  1. Alternating insoles.    We suggest having at least 2 pairs and alternating them in your shoes.   This can help avoid excess repetitive pressure to one pair of insoles.
